Cute Li'l Ghosties

Happy Halloween!
When I sat down to do my Halloween mani, I was drawing a complete blank.  I did a fairly traditional mani last year, so I wanted to do something a little more interpretative.  Then I remembered this cute little ghost, and it all clicked into place!

I got to work with my purple base of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Grey Area, added my purple gradient with the glitter topcoat (Daring Digits Enderman), and painted on some cute ghosts!

The one on the right looks slightly like it has a heart antenna, so the spacing needs a little work, but overall I'm super happy with how cute this one is.  I'm proud to be spreading some ghost love for Halloween.

Fall Pumpkins

Here I am, on my second post.  I probably won't post so frequently in the future, I just want to get a few posts up and out there.  I also meant to get these up earlier, I was just lazy about getting pictures set up.  Whoops!  On to the nails...

This is my first fall manicure this year! It finally got gray and rainy outside so I really wanted to paint my nails for the occasion.  I had on Essie Sand Tropez since I bought it this weekend and this idea of pumpkin vines really intrigued me.

I love that this doesn't have the traditional fall leaves or Halloween pumpkins- the flowers and curly vines feel so natural and pretty to me.

Abstract Mario?

Last weekend I went to a gaming night event hosted by my college and there was COLORING!  I picked a Mario and got straight to it.  I really loved the way it turned out and since then I’ve wanted to make a manicure inspired by it.  The colors I chose are a little bluer than how I colored it, but they still look pretty cool.

I imitated the streaky style of Mario’s fire thingy (super technical i know) and put the stars on the rest of my nails.  I wanted it to be a little more space-y so I added some glitter!  I’m really pleased with the streaky accent nails, I’ll be doing some more of these in the future.

My attempt at some artistic hand modeling...
